This small system has only one major planet, a gas giant named Theona. The Charidas Interchange, an important staging post for space travellers in the area protected by the League of Collaborative Planets, orbits Theona, and hosts, amongst many long-standing businesses, Per Lakshar’s Bar, named after the leader of the Neoluddite movement which eventually allowed many ordinary people to leave Earth and colonise the planet Pristina (to be featured in the Healers series, a spin-off series of The Zarduth Imperative series.
